The representatives of Kongra Star and the Autonomous Administration for Northern and Eastern Syria in Kurdistan, with the participation of women's organizations from Başûr Kurdistan, organized a protest against the recent Turkish attacks on Kobani.

During the protesting stand, the organizations condemned the massacre committed by the Turkish state against civilians (among them an administrative coordinator of Kongra Star in the Euphrates region, "Zahra Berkal.”

During the protest, a statement on behalf of Kongra Star and the Autonomous Administration for Northern and Eastern Syria was read by a member of the Administrative Board of Autonomous Administration Representative in Başûr Kurdistan, “Southern Kurdistan”, Slava Suleiman, indicating that it has become clear to the whole world that the policy pursued by the Turkish state comes within the framework of the policy of extermination and erasing the Kurdish people.

The statement noted that the Turkish attacks did not stop since the beginning of Rojava revolution, as the Turkish state supported, financed ISIS mercenaries, occupied Syrian lands, and forcibly expelled the citizens of Afrin, Serekaniye, and Gire Spi/ Tel Abyad from their lands forcibly.

The statement also stated that the Turkish state is hostile to the Kurdish people, and women in particular, and its recent attack on Kobani, which directly targeted civilians, emphasized the fascist and reactionary mentality it pursues in fighting democracy, justice and freedom, stressing that Russia is responsible for these attacks as much as Turkey is.

The statement clarified that the whole world bore witness to the historical resistance of Kobani and the Women's Protection Units that fought the global terrorism of "ISIS", which poses a threat to the world, and today Turkey is trying to spread terrorism again in Kobani.

Kongra Star representatives confirmed at the end of the statement that the Turkish state targets free women, and said, "All human rights organizations, the United Nations and women's rights protection organizations must break the silence and end the terrorism of the Turkish state."
