Attacks … seek to eradicate Kurdish people, undermining democratic nation's project

Regarding the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation on the night of the 14th of June on Mexmûr, Şengal province and legitimate defense area, Suleiman Khalil, the co-chair of PYD in Ad-Derbasiyah district, said, " the attacks targets innocent civilians in Kurdistan mountains in the name of protecting Turkey's national security, despite the history is testifying that the Kurdish people have not and will not harm anyone."

Khalil noted that the aim of the attacks is to exterminate the Kurdish people, especially the Yazidis, after he made several gains, and recovered from his tragedies after the ISIS terrorist attack in 2014, by order of the Turkish occupation state.

He pointed out that the attacks are targeting in the second degree the democratic nation project that the Kurdish people advocate in the four parts of Kurdistan.

On the silence of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government, Khalil explained, "The silence of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government assures the Kurdish people that they are Turkey's partners in these attacks."

Suleiman Khalil, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party office in Ad-Derbasiyah district, called on the Kurdish people to rise up against these attacks and Turkey's policy aimed at exterminating the Kurdish people.
