Al-Mushraf: Turkey reinforces its occupation in Syria, Syrian regime is satisfied

The Autonomous Administration chancellor described the replacement Syrian pound with Turkish lira in occupied areas is economic crime and completing the procedures for separating part of Syria's lands, condemning the silence of the Syrian regime and the international community regarding the policy of the Turkish occupier, and consider it a sign of satisfaction

Hawar news agency ANHA held an interview with AA's chancellor Anwar al-Mushraf, who talked about Turkey's goal of the policy it pursues in the occupied territories, especially displacement and the pumping of its currency in the areas it occupies, taking advantage of the collapse of the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the dollar, and the Syrian regime still remains silence against Turkish occupation practices and its gangs in the occupied areas.

AA's chancellor described the process of pumping the Turkish lira to deal with in the occupied areas by consolidating Turkification policy in the occupied areas.

He continued: "The process of displacement, naming some areas and streets with Turkish names, burning agricultural crops, and demolishing civilians' homes to displace them, as well as dealing in Turkish lira recently, are only measures to separate part of the Syrian lands to annex them to Turkey."

Anwar al-Mushraf considered that the international community should take urgent action and stop Turkey's crimes against the people in the areas it occupies.

AA's chancellor also denounced the Syrian regime's silence on these crimes: "We are surprised at the silence of the Syrian regime on the crimes committed by Turkey in the areas it occupies, and no statement of condemnation has been issued against it, and perhaps it reflects the regime's satisfaction with what Turkey and its mercenaries are doing."

Anwar al-Mushraf affirmed that the only solution to a comprehensive settlement in Syria, to get the people out of the tragedy that they are living and to expel the occupier from Syrian lands lies in the political settlement in accordance with resolution 2,254 and according to the Syrian-Syrian dialogue that you call for AA and the Syrian Democratic Council.
