PYD: Kurdish unity and unity with democratic forces to defeat fascism

This came through a statement issued by the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) regarding the attacks and raids of the Turkish occupation air forces yesterday night on the Şengal Mountains and Mexmûr camp, and he said in his statement:

"The Turkish state launched massive air strikes on southern Kurdistan targeting Şengal and Mexmûr  Camp, Biradost and Zab, Heftanin and other areas in violation of all ethical standards and international laws as usual when it comes to the Kurdish people.

What the Turkish state has done is evidence of powerlessness, as it suffers from an economic crisis due to the war it is waging in Kurdistan and the region, as it is embarrassing at home in front of the democratic resistance of the Kurdish people in northern Kurdistan, and considers that what was planned by the Kurdish people from malicious games and attempts to undermine with each passing day it is falling apart against the resistance of the Kurdish people all over the world. With these attacks, it wants to prove its existence and delude its supporters at home with its power and spread terror, threat and extortion abroad.

On the other hand, it is trying to create a conflict within the Kurdish people and gain some Kurdish forces alongside it with threats and extortion, and prevent the return of the Yezidis to their homes and keep them under the hammer of terrorism to complete what it could not achieve through ISIS, that wanted to uproot the Yezidis and did not succeed and Mexmûr resistance confronted it when he wanted to crawl towards Hewler .

We are in the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), as we call on our people to understand the Turkish plans and resistance in the face of its fascist practices that are threatening everything that belongs to the Kurdish people and their culture,  we demand the unity of Kurdish ranks at the earliest opportunity. At the same time, we appeal to the democratic forces in all parts of the world, the international powers that enacted international laws to defend their principles and the laws they enacted in order to achieve stability for the international community, because Turkish fascism has become a threat to all societies and countries of the Middle East and the world, and it threatens global peace".

It concluded its statement by saying: "The unity of the Kurdish rank and its solidarity with the democratic forces is enough to defeat fascism."
