"Turkey completes what ISIS have not implemented"

Jubair Sheikh Suleiman, the Director of the Yazidis Affairs Office in al-Jazeera region denounced the Turkish attacks on Şengal district and Mexmûr refugee camp in Başûr (South Kurdistan) and the legitimate defense zones, and said: "The Public opinion understands that approximately 50 Yazidi families have been living in Başûr Kurdistan camps since the mercenaries' attacks on Şengal, are preparing to return to the blessed Şengal, but that was obstructed, and yesterday, Şengal was bombed, as this indicates that the goal is to prevent the return of Şengal residents to their homeland."

Sheikh Suleiman noted that the goal of the attack on Şengal in particular is to annihilate the roots of the Kurds, and said: "The Ottoman state committed dozens of massacres against the Yazidis, and now it is trying to complete what ISIS mercenaries have been unable to implement, which is to erase the Kurdish identity from its roots."

Jubair Sheikh Suleiman indicated that the Kurdish people are going through a critical stage, and the Kurdistan and Kurdish forces should unite their ranks, and said: "If the Kurdistan and Kurdish forces do not unify their ranks, we will be eliminated." He also called on the international community to break its silence regarding the Turkish crimes.

He called on the Kurdish people, especially the Yazidis in the diaspora to go out and announce a popular uprising against the Turkish attacks.
