New cases, deaths with Covid 19 in Palestine, Israel

The Israeli Ministry of Health has announced that it recorded scores of new HIV infections and one death in the past 24 hours.

The Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" quoted the Israeli Ministry of Health as saying that "the number of infected people in the country rose to 18,268, including 31 patients in critical condition."

Among those infected with the virus, a new death has been registered, bringing the death toll to 299 in the country, "the ministry added. Noting that "15,168 Israelis have recovered from the virus since the beginning of the outbreak," warning of a second round of the virus's outbreak in the country.

In the same context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that a new infection was recorded in Jericho and al Aghwar Governorate, while 6 cases of recovery were recorded in Jerusalem and Hebron.

In a statement, she said: "The total number of infections in Palestine increased to 662, including 320 injuries in and around Jerusalem, 272 in the West Bank, and 70 infections in the Gaza Strip."

Likewise, the number of recovery cases increased to 565, or 85.3% of all reported infections.
