Al-Shaddadi residents support " Counter-Terrorism" and SDF

Al-Shaddadi residents welcomed the campaign launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces to pursue ISIS cells for security and stability.

The "Counter-Terrorism" campaign was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces on the 4th of this month to search the areas from Al-Shaddadi, south of Al-Hasakah, to the towns and districts of Deir ez-Zor, after continuous appeals from the people and tribal leaders to rid them of ISIS cells and the Turkish occupation cells that work to strike security and stability.

During the ongoing campaign, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested dozens of mercenaries and suspected collaborators, among them mercenaries belong to the "Al Qaeda" organization listed on the global terrorist list.

The declared campaign was very much welcomed by the people, against these cells, which are looting, bombing and assassination, under the names and false pretexts.

Wael Al-Afar, from Al-Shadadi side, confirmed that the activity of these cells increased dramatically with the attacks of Turkey and its mercenaries on the northeast regions of Syria for destabilizing the region.

He appreciated the cooperation of the residents with the forces participating in the campaign to completely eliminate the cells and secure the roads between the city and the countryside.

In his turn, Muhammad Al-Jumuah, stated that the campaign "aims to secure the area from Shaddadi to Deir ez-Zor in response to our desire. The SDF forces have defeated the terrorist ISIS from its last stronghold in Al-Baghuz, and it confirms its seriousness in eliminating their last cells trampled among civilians and in the desert free from Al-Dishisha areas of Abu Kamal in Deir ez-Zor.

While the head of the Endowments Authority in Al-Shaddadi, Ahmad Al-Mousa, expressed people's relief after the SDF forces announced their campaign to eliminate those who begged themselves to tamper with the name of religion and intimidate the people with the aim of spreading discord between the coexisting components and incitement through the explosions they commit in the markets and passers-by.

Al-Mousa called on the forces in campaign to strike all cells and suspects with an iron hand to remove the scourge of the people.

It is mentioned that the campaign "Counter-Terrorism" ended its first phase and launched the second, as it was divided into three phases within a maximum period of 14 days.
