The General Command of the People's Protection Units issued a statement in this regard, in which it said:

"The Rojava revolution produced many heroes. The occupiers targeted our people through the war of extermination. The guerrilla society which set itself the fulfillment of the dream of the freedom of the peoples fought against the occupation with strong will, faith and great determination. The resistance has made its mark on the history of the Rojava Revolution and northern Syria, at the forefront of the People's Protection Units and the Women's Protection Units has shown historical resistance.
