Rasol: Kurdish issue entered new stage with initiatives in uniting Kurdish rank

Kurdish writer Malvan Rasol said that the success of the efforts to unify the Kurdish class in Rojava would internationalize the issue of the Kurdish people in Syria, and protect their gains, as he praised the role of various social segments in supporting these endeavors.

The efforts in achieving the Kurdish rank and ongoing negotiations between Kurdish parties in Rojava have achieved tangible progression, where Commander- in- Chief SDF Mazlom Abdi stressed that the first step of the negotiations was successfully completed, then we will transfer to the second stage.

The Kurdish social and cultural circles see this success as a positive step towards humiliating obstacles, and call for taking into account the views of different groups in society.

Kurdish writer Malvan Rasol looks optimistically at the totality of these endeavors, noting that the initiative came in sensitive and dangerous circumstances, represented by the escalation of attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its occupation of a number of areas of Rojava and northern Syria, such as Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî.

Any victory in Rojava is a victory for the rest of Kurdistan

Rasol said that any victory in Rojava is a victory for the other Kurdish parts, "So the initiative that brought the parties together for dialogue and under the supervision of some countries is a good result, and for the first time some countries are trying to bring the Kurdish political parties closer."

He also noted that such a rapprochement would internationalize the issue of the Kurdish people in Syria, and pointed out that "the Kurdish issue has become a reality in the Middle East project, and that the Kurdish issue has entered a new stage after 9 years of the Syrian crisis, that is, the stage of political solution and increasing pressure on the regime Syrian government, in the interests of the conflicting parties in Syria. "

What the political parties have achieved so far is a good achievement

Rasol noted, "The reading of the Kurdish parties at this stage was at a good level, especially with regard to dialogues, discussions and meetings that took place between political parties despite the lack of disclosure of their results."

He added, "The main point in the meetings held between the Kurdish parties is considered a victory and success for the Kurdish project, because the enemy was able to divide the Kurdish street into two parts, especially with the occupation of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, because part of the Kurdish street stood against its revolution."

The initiative to unify the Kurdish class failed foes' plans

"The initiative of the Commander-in-Chief the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazlom Abdi, failed all conspiracies, so political parties must realize that the solution is not only linked to political parties, but they must take society as a basis in uniting the Kurdish rank, because society is the cornerstone in resolving any issue of being the owner of the case".

The opinion of different segments of society must be taken into account

Rasol considered, "the necessity of taking the opinions of the various segments of society, from intellectuals, clerics and independent personalities into consideration, in setting the map of solving the Kurdish issue in Syria."

He also added, "Despite the ambiguity of the two parties, and pressure from some countries, the statement of Mazlom Abdi, via his tweet, suggests the success of the first stage of discussions between the political parties, and there is a will that will triumph to start the second stage."

Social initiatives contributed to the success of the class unity efforts

Rasol said that the various social groups, including intellectuals, artists, writers and others, responded to the endeavors to achieve the unity of the Kurdish class, "and they had an effective role in the success of this initiative."

He also added, "The Kurdish people expressed their opinion about the sacrifices they made to preserve the gains achieved in all of Kurdistan, and this will will win in uniting the Kurdish street, because uniting the political parties in Syria will fulfill the demands of the Kurdish people in the new constitution of Syria."
