Popular demands to disclose Ocalan's health status

Turkish state is still ongoing its violations against the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

While the Coronavirus has spread to Turkish prisons, the Turkish state continues to prevent the leader's lawyers and his family from visiting him and making sure of his health.

That is why Ad-Derbasiyah district's residents expressed their fear about the leader's situation in light of the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Turkey.

Citizen Zidan Noah said: "The Coronavirus has spread throughout the world, and in Turkey there are also many cases, in addition to the huge number of deaths, and this increases our fear for the leader."

Noah drew attention to the fact that the failure to allow the leader’s lawyer, Abdullah Ocalan and his family, to visit him violates all international conventions and laws. “Human rights organizations and the United Nations must take their humanitarian duty and put pressure Turkey to check on the leader’s health.”

For his part, Citizen Tariq Dadosh noted that the danger threatens Imrali prison in light of the spread of Coronavirus inside Turkey, "and we want to check on the health of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

Tariq stressed that the Turkish authorities and human rights organizations will bear responsibility for what is happening to the leader, calling on them to end the isolation immediately.
