Observatory: 190 Syrian mercenaries killed in Libya

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights realized that Turkey transferred a new batch of the Syrian mercenaries to Libya, where dozens of Syrian mercenaries arrived to take part in the fighting alongside the National Accord Government against the Libyan National Army.

Violent clashes between the two sides continue on several axes inside the Libyan territories, and in this context, the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of 8 Syrian mercenaries, bringing the death toll of mercenaries as a result of military operations in Libya to 190 mercenaries. On a related level, the Libyan army managed to capture 5 elements of the Syrian mercenaries during the past hours.

The Syrian Observatory indicated a few days ago that Turkey continues to send its mercenaries from the Syrians to fight in Libya, where the sources of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have reported that a new batch of at least 150 members of al-Sultan Morad mercenaries was launched within the last few hours and days from Afrin city's center and headed via Turkish buses to the border. In addition, other groups, including dozens from Jarablus and al-Bab cities set out to the meeting point in Kilis region, as about 300 mercenaries of al-Sultan Morad, Liwa Seqour al-Shemal and Faylaq al-Sham arrived in Libya on Friday.

Thus, the number of mercenaries who have reached the Libyan territories until now has increased to about 5,050 mercenaries, while the number of mercenaries who have reached the Turkish camps to receive training has reached about 1,950 mercenaries.
