Kobani.. In unique initiative, a citizen distributes masks for free

A citizen from the city of Kobani distributed 1,000 masks to the people for free, in an individual, unique initiative, the first of its kind, aimed at helping those unable to purchase medical masks that protect against the Corona virus.

The citizen, Saleh Hamo, a resident from the city of Kobani, began distributing medical masks to families in the southern neighborhoods of the city, which suffer from difficult financial conditions that prevent them from taking preventive measures against the Corona virus, which has spread widely in the world.

Saleh initiative is the first of its kind in the city of Kobani, and it may open the door to other charitable initiatives, while the cities of northern and eastern Syria witnessed several charitable initiatives.

Saleh, as he distributed masks, stressed the need for all the capable people to do as he did "because charitable work is everyone’s duty."

This medical mask is one of the ways to prevent the Corona virus, as it prevents the inhalation of the virus from air, whether through the nose or mouth.

With the spread of the virus in neighboring countries, the price of masks has increased exponentially in Syria, which many families are unable to afford.
