On the other hand, the American embassy in Baghdad issued an alert yesterday to its citizens regarding the demonstrations that may be launched in Baghdad and Najaf during the next three days, and a statement of the embassy called on American citizens not to travel to Iraq, avoid demonstration areas, and monitor local media.
