The parties of the Kurdish National Council began reopening their closed offices nearly three years ago in north and east Syria respectively.

On Saturday afternoon, the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria reopened its office in Dêrik after the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced allowing the parties to engage in their political activities without obtaining a license, as a goodwill initiative in achieving the national unity in response to the initiative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi.
