Al-Mismari announces air embargo over Tripoli, observing ISIS brought to Libya by Turkey

The Major General Ahmed al-Mismari, speaking on behalf of the Libyan National Army, announced the monitor of a number of ISIS mercenaries who had infiltrated to the south, likely that Turkey had brought them, and announced at the same time the activation of the air embargo over Tripoli entirely, especially over Mitiga Airport.

The spokesperson for the Libyan National Army, the Major General Ahmed al-Mismari, announced the imposition of an air embargo over all of Tripoli, especially the Mitiga Airport.

Al-Mismari said on Wednesday: “We announce the activation of the air embargo over Tripoli completely, especially over Mitiga Airport. Any military or civilian aircraft that take off or land at the airport will be subjected to a response.”

Al-Mismari indicated in a statement on Wednesday that the Mitiga Airport has become a starting point for the Turkish forces to target the National Army gatherings.

He confirmed that they had detected a number of ISIS mercenaries who had infiltrated to the south, likely that they had been brought by Turkey.

It is worth mentioning that the National Army announced the destruction of a Turkish drone that attempted to attack its forces launching from Mitiga Airport.
