Afrin people: With Age Resistance, We to liberate Afrin, defeat terrorism

Afrin people who were displaced to al-Shahba canton and the villages of Sherawa district denounced the Turkish invasion of Afrin canton during a demonstration held in Ziyara village, coinciding with the second anniversary of the aggression against Afrin occupied canton.

On January 20, 2018, the Turkish occupation state started bombing Afrin canton, which was inhabited by hundreds of thousands of civilians, with tens of warplanes, as hundreds of Afrin people left as victims.

Our agency ANHA monitored the opinions of the displaced Afrin people in Ziyara village of Sherawa district, where they denounced the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the occupied Afrin.

The citizen Mohammed Kanjo described January 20^th as the black day, and condemned the Turkish aggression against the occupied Afrin, as it used the latest types of advanced weapons in addition to the internationally prohibited weapons.

Kanjo stressed the resistance of the displaced people of Afrin in al-Shahba canton and Sherawa villages until the liberation of Afrin from the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries.

In turn, the citizen Amina Dingli said: “We went out today in a demonstration to denounce the Turkish occupation of our lands, and express our rejection of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.”

Amina noted: “Our will is stronger than your weapons which committed dozens of massacres against Afrin people whose lands usurped by the Turkish occupation.”

Amina condemned the international silence and human rights organizations regarding the violations of the Turkish occupation against the displaced people of Afrin in al-Shahba canton and the villages of Sherawa district.

Abdo Barakat from the people of Sherawa district said: “Our will is strong, and our hopes are to liberate Afrin canton from the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.”

Barakat stressed during his speech at the demonstration, "We will not leave Afrin at the hands of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and no one can prevent us from returning to it. Our resistance continues in Sherawa district until the last drop of blood in our bodies.”

Barakat concluded his speech: “We pledge the martyrs to continue the resistance until the liberation of Afrin, and expel the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries from it.”
