British Foreign Secretary Dominic Rapp said today that war in the Middle East is not in the interest of any party and said that there is a need to reduce the escalation of the situation in the Middle East and avoid unintended war.

The British official indicated, "The way is open for Iran to enter into meaningful diplomacy," Reuters reported.

In the same context, the commander of the Iranian army, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, underestimated the threat of the US President to target 52 locations in Iran, in case American interests in the region were exposed to Iranian attacks.

Mousavi said he ruled out that Trump would have the audacity to implement his threats in any possible war, "It will become clear on the scene of any potential war, where these targets will be and where the numbers 5 and 2 will be."

And the commander of the Iranian army considered that Trump "makes such threats to cover up the assassination of Soleimani."
