The US-led international coalition said: Two attacks took place near two Iraqi bases hosting coalition forces, on Saturday night, but it made clear that they had not resulted in any casualties in its ranks.

"There were two missile attacks near two Iraqi bases hosting coalition forces in Baghdad and a country on the evening of January 4, bringing the total of attacks over the past two months to 13," Col. Myles Caggins said in a statement.

He added, in the statement, that the attacks probably hit Iraqi civilians.

Iraq witnessed yesterday, tension, on the background of the threat of Iraqi Hezbollah groups to the American forces, after the assassination of the deputy head of the “Popular Mobilization Forces” Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and the commander of the “Quds Force” in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Qassem Soleimani, at the dawn of Friday, with American missile strikes on their convoy near Baghdad International Airport.
