On Saturday, the Iranian foreign minister criticized in a tweet the American Secretary of State Mike Pompeo who described him as an arrogant clown disguised as a diplomat, after he published a video of celebrations held in Iraq for the killing of al-Quds Force commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Qassem Soleimani a few days ago.

Zarif added that hundreds of thousands of Iraqis had responded to what Pompeo claimed in his tweet after Soleimani's killing.

Zarif's tweet came after several rockets landed in the Green Zone in center of Baghdad near the American embassy, as well as other missiles that targeted al-Balad American Air Base in Salah ed-Din province.
