The US-led coalition against ISIS announced that it had not carried out any air strikes near the Taji camp, north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

A coalition spokesman said in a tweet on "Twitter": "The coalition has not carried out air strikes near the Taji camp during the past days."

Earlier on Saturday, air strikes on a group of the Popular Mobilization Forces near the Taji camp killed 6 people and seriously wounded 3 others.

Iraqi state TV reported that they were American air strikes.

The attack comes 24 hours after a US raid with a drone plane, near Baghdad Airport, which killed (Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and Major General Qassim Soleimani, leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards).
