Saudi Arabia.. Two killed, high explosive seized in car

The official spokesman of the Head of  the State Security,  stated for the Official News Agency of Saudi Arabia (WAS) that as the result of the terrorist activities follow-up, the specialized authorities were provided with what may indicate to the existence of arrangements for carrying out an imminent terrorist operation, in which the terrorist elements in charge of the operation use a vehicle equipped with explosives.

The spokesman added: "The efforts were able to monitor the presence of a vehicle, which is (Ford) type driven by two terrorist elements in King Saud Street in Dammam city, and when they were asked to surrender, they started shooting at the security men and fortified in one of the buildings, that required dealing with them according to the situation to neutralize their dangers, resulting in their deaths."

 Both of the wanted suspects for the security  were Abdallah Saeed Sweid and Abdullah Hussein Saeed al-Nimr, a Saudi national, he said.

The spokesman added: "The security operation also resulted in the arrest of a third element whose name is anonymous currently for the benefit of  the Department of Investigation,  seizure of a kneading material weighing 5 kg inside the vehicle intended for the operation, and as  the results of the preliminary technical examinations of the substance indicated that it was made of RDX. "In addition to seizing a machine gun, two pistols, live ammunition and a sum of money," he said.
