Armenian’s houses in Gire Spi transformed into military strongholds, headquarters

The family of Armenian citizen, Abu George and other Armenian families were displaced from the village of Khirbet Alou of the occupied Gire Spi/Tel Abyad countryside at the beginning of the ongoing Turkish offensive on the area in October 9th.

 "We would not have remained in an area occupied by Turkey anyway because we were afraid of repeating of the genocide against us," Abu-George said. 

Following the displacement of Armenians from their villages and the occupied city of Gire Spi/Tal Abyad, the mercenaries looted all  their homes pssessions, as well as the barley crop they had planted this year and other agricultural tools.

The mercenaries transformed the Armenian homes into military headquarters, and housed them with the families of mercenaries from Idlib and Jarablus .

Abu George explains that he lived in a village that housed the Kurdish, Arab and Armenian population, and they lived for years as brothers, but the Turkish occupation torn this model and every family is now in a place.

Abu George says four Armenian families lived in his village, they all were relatives, as they were displaced and the pssessions of their homes were looted.

 He added that his uncle's house had been converted into the headquarters of a mercenary faction, and others used them as strongholds and places to investigate with civilians.

Abu George is afraid of repeating  the genocide against Armenians, so they always flee Turkey, avoiding staying in the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries.

He asserts that there is no Armenian left in Gire Spi and its villages, and that Turkey's claim that it supports Armenian families is not true, as it brought citizens who were represented in the Church of the Virgin as Armenians and is protected by Turkey, and this is fats distortion, pointing out that there were only 15 Armenian families in Gire Spi, some of them fled to Aleppo and the other to al-Hasakah.

Abu George demanded Turkey to leave Syria to live as safe and secure as before.
