The Turkish offensive on northern and eastern Syria has displaced thousands of  people from  their homes and areas. As a result , the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria was forced to allocate more than 64 centers in al-Hasakah to house the displaced who were displaced forcibly from their homes, as well as  building Washokani camp, which is located 12 km in the  west of  aLHasakah city center.

The camp's administrator, Hussein Yusuf, explained to our agency that a new batch had arrived in  the camp this week, as the tents in the camp had numbered 910, while more than 920 families had housed in it.

Yusuf noted that, with the arrival of the new batch, the number of the displaced had risen to more than 5,000, who had fled the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

"We distributed more blankets, mattresses and tents’ isolations to prevent rain to the displaced, in addition to distributing the third batch of gas for heating. We have increased the amount of food and bread distribution to the people," Yusuf said.

It is worth mentioning that the support provided for the camp is limited to the Kurdish Red Crescent and Autonomous Administration, amid the international organizations disregard and lack of any support form.
