Demonstrators: We to not leave our land, to stand against Turkish attacks

Thousands of people from al-Jazeera region have come out in mass demonstrations in protest against the Turkish aggression on the northeastern areas of Syria. In this regard, the people of Qamishlo city and Amuda district have expressed their rejection to the continued Turkish attacks on northern and eastern areas of Syria, stressing the standing of all components together and to close their ranks.

The citizen Fairozeh Mohammed from Qamishlo city said that the Turkish occupation army was unjust and aggressive and was committing murder against the people of northern and eastern Syria. She wondered, “Where are human rights organizations? Why are they silent so far?”

Fairozeh Mohammed pointed out, "We will not leave our land as long as we are alive, and we will stand in the face of the Turkish occupation until the last breath."

For his part, the citizen Seud Farhan from Amuda district condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation army, and said, "The Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan must stand beside the Kurds in Rojava," and called on all young men and women in northeastern Syria to take up arms to deter the Turkish attacks.

Seud Farhan called on European countries and the International Coalition to show a clear position towards the Turkish attacks, and said, "Despite the agreements made, the Turkish attacks continue."

The citizen Adola Mohammed from Amuda district said, "The Turkish state cannot undermine the Kurds and their will. Erdogan's actions against the Kurdish people recall us of the actions of Saddam Hussein, and his fate will be similar to that of Saddam."

Adola Mohammed added, "We will not fear anyone as long as SDF, YPG and YPJ fighters protect us because we are sure that they will defeat anyone tries to undermine our security and stability."
