Media: Constitutional Commission fails to hold its meeting, regime delegation leaves UN HQ

A source close to the regime's delegation to the meetings of the so-called Constitutional Committee held today in Geneva assured that the mini-committee failed to hold its meeting after disagreement on the agenda of its work.

Russia Channel said today quoting from a source close to the regime's delegation that the Constitutional Mini-Committee failed to hold its meeting, and the Syrian regime delegation left the UN headquarter after disagreement on the agenda of a unified work.

The Syrian regime pre-empted the meetings of this committee through statements made by the UN delegate Bashar al-Jaafari at the Security Council session on Friday, saying, "There are no suitable conditions for the work of the so-called Constitutional Committee because of the Turkish regime's occupation of Syrian territories and killing and displacing many citizens with the aim of gathering terrorists of Erdogan under the guise of what he called a safe zone, which is considered an occupied territory."

These meetings are accompanied by a violent escalation in the city of Idlib, as the regime forces, with Russian support, launched an attack on the city and managed to make progress.
