End of first joint patrol between Russian police, Turkish occupation

The joint patrols between the Russian military police and the Turkish occupation army are based on the Sochi Agreement on the 22nd of last October between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the President of the Turkish occupation state Erdogan.

The joint patrol started from the village of Shirkeh 11 km west of ed-Dirbasiyah district in al-Hasakah canton and headed towards the southern and eastern villages of the district, reaching the villages of Amuda district in Qamişlo canton, and then returned to its starting point in the village of Shirkeh in ed-Dirbasiyah district after roaming the area for 60 km.

The joint patrol consisted of four armored vehicles of the Russian military police and the Turkish occupation army.

It is noteworthy that the presence of Turkish armored vehicles inside the Syrian territories has not received the approval of the people, as the people of some villages, where the joint patrol passed through, received the Turkish occupation armored vehicles by throwing tomatoes and shoes on them and some of them used stones.

The joint patrol ended at 15.00, and the Turkish armored vehicles returned to the Turkish territories, while the Russian armored vehicles returned to Qamişlo through Amuda district.
