Media outlets and news websites have reported that a shell landed at ed-Dirbassiyyah crossing during the presence of a Russian patrol at the crossing, and a number of people were injured.

Media outlets have published videos and photos indicating the moment of the explosion, and the reporters said that a shell landed near the Russian patrol cars.

Just before, the Russian Center for Reconciliation between the combating parties in Syria denied that units of the Russian military police came under fire at a border crossing in Syria.
