Martyrs' families decry international silence about Turkish massacres

Hawar news agency (ANHA) monitored the views of martyrs' families in al-Shahba about the Turkish aggression on north and east of Syria, the massacres committed against the peoples of the region, and the use of internationally prohibited weapons against them.

Shazia Ibrahim, mother and sister of four martyrs, said, "In the name of the families of the martyrs, we condemn the attacks and massacres committed by the Turkish occupation in northern and eastern Syria, such as Tal- Abyad and Serêkaniyê, we condemn the silence of the international community and human rights and their ignorance of the killing of children and women. As the mothers of the martyrs, we will stand alongside with our SDF forces

Shazia Ibrahim stressed that "our era of freedom and we will not retreat by the bombings and attacks that we are subjected by the Turkish occupation, that the peoples are willing to pay the price whatever cost, but they will not back down, and tell America and Russia that they have been aiming for betrayal since time immemorial."

While the administrator in Martyrs Families' Council Hussein Murad, that "we have moved from the Afrin area to al-Shahba to escape the practices of the Turkish occupation, however, thousands of women, children and men were killed by shelling targeting civilians, in addition to the use of chemical gas several times in Afrin.

He appealed to the international community, saying: "I call on the whole world and say what is the guilt of these peoples to receive all this injustice and massacres, stop your silence Look what is happening to the Kurdish people and the people of the region, stop killing our people in northern and eastern Syria.

Mother Khadija Alou said, "We, like the mothers of the martyrs and the people of Afrin, lived through pain and massacres during the Turkish attacks on Afrin, we do not want to repeat that scenario against other mothers. "

Khadija sent a message to the international community saying: "We send our message to the whole world. We don't just want your words. We want to do something on the ground for the Kurdish people. Enough killing and using internationally prohibited weapons such as phosphorus gas against our children, women and men."
