The area of fire set up by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have expanded in the lands of the villagers of Shirawa in Afrin canton to the destruction of thousands of hectares.

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to set fire to fields and crops in the lands of Afrin. After burning more than 3,000 hectares during the last few days of agricultural crops, olive trees and vineyards, the area burned by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin reached an area of more than 14,000 hectares.

As part of a series of violations, they set fire to crops, olives, and cherries on Sunday in the villages of the Shirawa district. To date, about 1,000 olive trees and 500 cherry trees have been burned, as well as 80 hectares of agricultural crops in the villages of Bina, Kashtaar, Teneb, Jelber, and Mariamin.

 While the residents have been trying to extinguish the fire using tractors and water tanks in vain.
