Asia Abdullah: YPJ rid whole world of terrorism

The International Women's Day was launched in al-Jazeera region, in the city of Qamishlo, with the participation of thousands of women.

Today, the women of al-Jazeera region came to the ceremonial square.

The participants demonstrated the resistance and struggle of the prisons, including the hunger strikers

The participants carried flags of the Women's Protection Units(YPJ), the Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF), pictures of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and Kongra Star.

The member of Kongra Star Asia Coordination, Asia Abdullah welcomed all attendees and congratulated the 8th of March on all women fighting on the fronts against terrorism. She also praised parliamentarian Leyla Guven and the hunger strikers for their demands to lift the isolation of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Asia said "The resistance of YPJ must be a women's identity, as it will defeat global terrorism, Asia confirmed that the gains made by women today are great.

She added, "Women in al-Shahba under the tents resist Turkish fascism to return to Afrin. Although they are far away from their homes, they celebrate their day with determination and we will celebrate next year with the Afrin women in the city of Afrin."
