Al-Bab Military Council congratulates International Women's Day on all women

The International Women's Day marks the eighth day of March, as women around the world celebrate this occasion as a day for women's struggle against injustice and to demand the gain their rights, which were robbed by the authoritarian masculine mentality against which they were subjected.

On this occasion and to congratulate the women, Al-Bab Military Council, issued a statement to the public, singled out the Syrian women activists on this day, and said that today is a platform for women struggling to obtain their stolen rights.

The text of the statement is:

"On behalf of al-Bab Military Council, we congratulate the women of the whole world and the women of Syria on International Women's Day, as this day has become the starting point for women struggling for their stolen rights. Today, eight years after the revolutionary movement in Syria, the women proved themselves in defending their land and people.

The woman was the constant fighter in the face of terrorism, which threatened the whole world, as well as the fire that burned the Turkish occupation in the occupied territories when the martyrs carried out heroic operations.

We, as Syrian forces, will strive to liberate all women of Syria from the oppression of the Turkish occupation and from terrorism in all its forms.

In our turn, we will combat all forms of violence against women so as to achieve equality between women and men on the basis of democracy."
