Algerian President has returned to his country last night, the Algerians are holding their breaths pending his decision and whether he will officially announce his candidacy for a fifth term before the end of the deadline, which could stoke protests against his candidacy.

Bouteflika's announcement marked the appointment of Abdelghani Za'alan as the new campaign manager, replacing Abdelmalek Sallal, which seemed clear that he intended to run again for the presidency.

In turn, the channel Euro news quoted on an Algerian security source, that the plane of Bouteflika's returned to Algeria on the evening of yesterday, "without the President."

Bouteflika is currently in Switzerland for routine medical examinations that have not been revealed.
