Martyrs' families: Our martyrs' promises being achieved

The last stage of al-Jazeera Tempest was named "the battle to defeat terrorism", and launched to liberate the last enclave where the mercenaries are existed in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor city amid achieving a victory after another and inflicting the mercenaries with more defeats in al-Baguz village.

As the declaration of IS mercenaries' defeat in their last stronghold in Deir ez-Zor countryside has approached, ANHA reporter got acquainted with a number of Serê Kanîyê people as they expressed their happiness for the liberation of the lands from the terrorism.

The citizen Aisha Farhan who is the mother of the martyr "Jiyan Tolhildan" who was martyred in the Deir ez-Zor campaign in al-Baguz village in the last stronghold of IS mercenaries on February 10, 2019 said, "The revolution witnessed resistance in Serê Kanîyê against the mercenary groups thanks to our martyrs who were part of SDF, the People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) and who were able to liberate their lands from the hands of the mercenary groups, stood against them and repelled their attacks until they promoted to the rank of martyrdom."

"We are proud of our martyrs who sacrificed the most precious they had to liberate their areas from the mercenary gangs, and we will support all our military forces against any enemy that touches our land," she said.

Aisha Farhan congratulated SDF, YPG and YPJ on liberating all the areas controlled by mercenaries, stressing that they will march on the path of their martyrs until the freedom of the leader Ocalan and the liberation of all lands.

The homeland would not be achieved without making efforts

The citizen Ismael Farhan, a resident of Serê Kanîyê city and the father of the martyr Zirbid who was martyred in the "Martyr Robar" campaign in the village of Om al-Hayy in Suluk town in June 22, 2015, said, "My son Zirbid's comrades pledged us to revenge for him and all the martyrs and to liberate the areas controlled by IS mercenaries and the terrorist groups, and today, they are fulfilling their promise to liberate the land from the oppressors."

Ismail said, "Our happiness and feeling is indescribable, and we congratulate all the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their children for the sake of liberating their lands because the homeland will not be liberated without sacrifices."

By eliminating IS, our son's pledge achieved

For his part, the father of the martyr "Robar Serê Kanîyê" Abdel Rezzaq Mohammed said, "My son Robar was martyred with 13 of his comrades in the ranks of YPG during the battles against IS mercenaries in Kanteri area in Suluk town on 27 February 2016, and today, we congratulate all components of the north and east Syria for our victories witnessed in al-Jazeera Tempest campaign, as we salute our resistant comrades in the in the prisons of Turkey, especially the protesters who went on hunger strike."

Abdel Razzaq stressed that the defeat of IS mercenaries means a big victory in the regions of north and east Syria, achieving the promise of our children and we are all ready to pursue the mercenary groups where they were and ready to sacrifice more for the freedom of Ocalan.

At the end of the conversation, Abdel Rezzaq wished to liberate Afrin from the Turkish occupier and said, "The liberation of Afrin will be the liberation of humanity, breaking and foiling the plans of the AKP."

Al-Baguz village is the last stronghold of IS mercenaries in the north of Syria. It was a key and strategic point for the mercenaries because it is located near the border area with Iraq near Anbar which was also considered an important area under the control of IS.
