Detainees' parents: proud of our children’s resistance, support their demands

The detainees in Turkish prisons continue their hunger strike to support demands of the co–chair of Democratic Society Conference and MP in Democratic People's Party Leyla Guven and the struggler Nasser Yagz, who have been on hunger strike for several months, demanding to lift the isolation against Ocalan.

The citizen Aytan Rasho, sister of the detainee Mohammed Rasho who was arrested a year and a half ago by the Turkish government said " We, as the relatives of the detainees we support all the resistance strugglers, including my sibling in solidarity with Leyla Guven in a hunger strike, salute their resistance, and support their demand to lift the isolation of the leader Ocalan, through the events we are doing, because the isolation is not only on the leader but on the Kurdish people as a whole. "

Ahmed Abdo, sibling of Shokry Abdo, who was arrested in 1996 by the Turkish occupation army, said: "I salute the resistance of my sibling and his comrades for their participation in the hunger strike and their support for the resistance of Leyla Guven to lift the isolation on the leader Ocalan.

Azad Abdo, the sibling of the detained Gulistan Abdo, who was arrested 20 years ago and sentenced to 36 years by the Turkish occupation state, praised his sister's participation in the hunger strike. "It is time to tell Erdogan and his fascist government, enough violations. Therefore, we will continue the supporting activities to the prisons’ resistance and resistance of Leyla Guven, till achieving their demands, which are also our demands to lift the isolation on the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and gaining his freedom.
