SDF commander: 80% of al-Baguz liberated, progression is ongoing

The commander in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Adel Judy who is participating in the battle to defeat terrorism said that their forces managed to liberate 80% of al-Baguz Foqani village, affirming that the battle it advancing to defeat IS mercenaries completely in north and east Syria.

The battle to defeat terrorism continues progressing as only 20% of IS mercenaries' area has been left in al-Baguz Foqani that is located east of Hajin town in conjunction with a slow advance of the battle by the fighters of SDF because the mercenaries are using the civilians as human shields.

Hawar news agency's (ANHA) reporter reached the frontal line between SDF fighters and IS mercenaries in al-Baguz Foqani village, and monitored the incidents ongoing in the last days of the battle.

In the same context, the commander in the battle to defeat terrorism Adel Judy said that only few meters separate them from the mercenaries, and they are using the civilians as human shields to be protected from SDF fighters' blows.

Judy pointed out that the remained mercenaries carry explosive devices, and when they are besieged, they blast themselves.

Adel Judy confirmed their continuation to advance, eliminate the mercenaries, liberate and save the civilians from the injustice and violations practiced against them.
