With the launching of the Battle to Defeat Terrorism by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from al-Jazeera Tempest campaign in the final phase against IS in their last pocket in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor and their progress towards Hajin town, thousands of the people in Hajin area and its countryside have displaced during the battles towards areas liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and after liberating the area from IS hands and launching a combing campaign of the area to clear it from mines and IS cells, the people began gradually to return to their homes in the safe areas.

During the return, the residents called the Civil Council of Deir ez-Zor and the humanitarian and service organizations to rehabilitate their areas and restore life to them as soon as possible.

Hawar news agency monitored the return of dozens of people to their homes after liberating their areas.
