Executive Council congratulates Afrinis on 5th DAA anniversary.

Today, 29 January marks the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Autonomous Democratic Administration of Afrin canton, which has embraced nearly half a million displaced people since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, which is currently under Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, the so-called Free Army after the heroic resistance shown by its people which lasted nearly two months.

On this occasion, the Executive Council of the north and east Syria presented a telegram of congratulations to the people of Afrin stating:

On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the establishment of DAA in Afrin, we congratulate the people of Afrin and its people in all its components and administrations in particular and the people of northern and eastern Syria in general on this great and dear occasion.

Afrin, which has embraced more than 500,000 displaced people at the beginning of the popular movement in Syria, Afrin, whose fighters have resisted for more than 58 days in the face of the Turkish military vandalism machine, their aircraft and their deadly missiles, Afrin will return to the bosom of DAA in northern and eastern Syria with determination of its people, administrators and administration and the DAA in north and east Syria will work, struggle by all means until liberation."
