Turkish soldier killed in Serhed

The People's Defense Forces (HPG) carried out an operation within the revolutionary victory campaign in Serhed area against units of the Turkish occupation army in Îdir. Moreover, the operation resulted in killing a soldier at least.

HPG's Media Center issued a statement to the public opinion in which it disclosed the outcome of operations carried out by their forces against the Turkish occupation army.

In the details and within the revolutionary victory campaign in Serhed area, the Guerilla Forces carried out an operation against secret units in the surrounding of Korkhan station in Îdir on January 24th at 12:00, and the operation resulted in killing a Turkish soldier at least.

After the operation, the Turkish occupation army launched attacks on the area where the operation took place without achieving any outcome.

While the Turkish occupation's aircrafts launched attacks on the lawful defense zones, and during which the aircrafts bombarded the axes of Yekmalê village in Garê area and Kûnîşka and Çemço areas in Zap between 10:00 and 10:30.

Moreover, the Turkish occupation's aircrafts bombarded Xinêre (Khenera) axes between 16:00 and 16:30.

Furthermore, the attacks of the Turkish occupation's aircrafts did not cause human losses within the ranks of Guerilla Forces.
