Avin Jumma: We have contacted many orgs about Leyla Guven

The co-chair of the Democratic Society Conference and the Parliamentarian in the Democratic Peoples' Party detained in the prisons of the Turkish state because of her position on the Turkish occupation of Afrin Leyla Guven, she declared going on a hunger strike to denounce the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan.

Leyla's health situation deteriorates day by day, as she has recently been unable to meet with her lawyer. In this regard, the co-chair of the human rights organization in al-Jazeera, Avin Jumma noted that they are in contact with human rights organizations in the case of Leyla Guven.

Avin explained that the Turkish state's attitude towards the demands of Leyla Guven is a violation of international law. "The demands of Leyla Guven are legitimate and all the Kurdish people are demanding this, as in international law, the rights of political prisoners are reserved."

Avin said they had sent reports to human rights organizations and the International Red Cross, "where we have mentioned in reports the violations of the Turkish state against political detainees."

The co-chair of the human rights organization Avin Jumma said, "We have also contacted many health and humanitarian organizations about the health situation of Leyla Guven."

At the end of her speech, Avin called on the human rights organizations to pressure the Turkish state to respond to the demands of Leyla Guven and lift the isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.
