Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's threats to launch attacks on north and east Syria have escalated wrath reactions from the region's residents, including women from al-Karama region who have said they will not accept this occupation again after being liberated from ISIS mercenaries supported by Turkey.

"Turkey wants to prolong the life of ISIS in Syria"

Badra al-Ali from the town of al-Hamarat in the eastern countryside of al-Raqqa explained that Turkey aims by its threating and mobilizing its forces on the Syrian border to prolong the life of ISIS in Syria, as it is heading to the abyss in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor

Badra al-Ali said "Today we live freely after the elimination of ISIS mercenaries from our regions thanks to the solidarity of the people here."

"We will not accept Turkish occupation in our territory after it was liberated from Turkish-backed ISIS," Badra al-Ali said at the end of her speech.

We will be a shield to protect our gains

Nasiba Aliwi said "What Erdogan is saying is to destabilize the security of the region and to restore the greatness of his Ottoman ancestors who occupied Syria 400 years ago and today with feeble pretexts he want to prolong the war in Syria and make the region unstable,"

She added that the Syrian Democratic Forces, and thanks to the solidarity of the people with them, managed to defeat ISIS and regain freedom for the people, which was taken away by ISIS.

At the end of her speech, Nasiba stressed that as women of the region they will remain united until they defeat the mercenaries from Syria and will not accept the Turkish occupation aimed at committing massacres in the region.
