Observers warn of Iraqi scenario... Has IS really ended?

Observers saw that Trump's announcement of withdrawing the US troops from Syria could pave the way for the returning of IS to repeat what happened in Iraq after the US withdrawal.

The Washington Post newspaper said in December 2011, the US forces withdrew from Iraq, formally ending the Iraq liberation operations. After the joined forces reduced the violence of terrorists and insurgents there, IS mercenaries got out of their hideouts as they exploited primarily the withdrawal of the US forces from Iraq and the civil war in Syria secondly.

The newspaper said that the pieces of advice that the Iraqis used to send to the temporary Coalition Authority leadership from December 2003 to May 2004 were an illusory view of a mysterious world where the terrorist organization was growing, and the pieces of advice program contained few resources and faced problems in coordination with various American entities deployed in Iraq and that the program «pieces of advice» at the beginning contributed to eliminate the corruption, including the arrest of the former President Saddam Hussein, as the Iraqis were providing the US forces with a wide range of information with one-way which is "eliminating the Baathist."

About the US decision to withdraw, the newspaper says that what happened in Iraq is the opposite of what is happening in Syria and Afghanistan because all the signs indicate that IS' threat is still a serious threat to the global security.

It added that IS can adapt to the current circumstances and is trying to establish secret organizations more dangerous than before, and the withdrawal of the American forces from Syria on the pretext that they destroyed IS would have adverse effects on the ground, especially that the situation in Syria is still unclear and very dangerous.

The newspaper said, "We do not know what the new name of the terrorist organization would be and this is not important, but the important thing is that the risk of the terrorist organization would be much greater than the risk of the current IS organization."
