The US national security adviser told reporters during a visit to Israel on Sunday that US President Donald Trump wanted to "destroy IS mercenaries."

He stressed that US President Donald Trump insists that "the American withdrawal from Syria will not happen without an agreement to protect the Kurds."

He stressed that Washington does not want any Turkish military action in Syria without coordination with them he added, "We will discuss withdrawal from Syria with Israel and Turkey during a regional tour."

Bolton said "America will withdraw from Syria, but it will protect its troops during the withdrawal period."

The US national security adviser, John Bolton, arrived Saturday evening in Israel, and will meet during his visit to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then will be headed from Israel later to visit Turkey.
