The Kurdish language complex in Derik opened a kindergarten for children under the name Sara during a ceremony.

QAMISHLO

The opening was attended by dozens of children, their parents and teachers of the Kurdish language, the kindergarten hall was decorated with New Year decorations

The opening ceremony began with a minute of silence. Several speeches were delivered by the Deputy of Pedagogy and Education's Body in Jazeera region Farida Ibrahim, Derik District Council and Siada Hanna.

The words blessed the opening of the kindergarten under the name Sara, who was martyred by Turkish occupation's shooting on Tel-Abyed city on November.

The words that the opening of the kindergarten at this stage a historical meaning is a response to the occupiers who are trying to stop the process of education and skeptics of curricula taught in the north and east of Syria.

After finishing the words, the Qulki Azadi band belonging to Dijla Center for Culture and Art in Derik presented a musical performance.
