“Deployment of the Syrian army is limited to the border”

In an interview with ANHA, the Executive Chairman of the Executive Council of the Democratic Civil Administration of the city of Manbij and its countryside, Mohamed Khair Sheikho, discussed developments in the city of Manbij under the propaganda of the Turkish fascist state, which threatens the city of Manbij.

During his speech, Mohammed Khair highlighted the security and stability prevailing in the city of Manbij, and the preparation of the people to celebrate the New Year's Day, in light of the security and stability the city enjoys thanks to the efforts of the Internal Security Forces.

He said that the Syrian army did not enter the city of Manbij. "The presence of the Syrian army will be limited to the border strip between the forces of the Manbij Military Council and the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation to prevent any threat to the security and stability of the city of Manbij," he said.

He pointed out that the city is at the hands of the Internal Security Forces, and Manbij Council Forces remain in their former positions.

He concluded by stressing that the forces of the Manbij Military Council continue to defend the city of Manbij against any threat to it.
