'Those who implement external agendas that do not represent the Syrian people '

Thabet al-Jewher, elder of al-Shrabiin clan and a member of the Tribal Elders' Council in al-Hasaka during an interview with Hawar News Agency

 said ,"We are the tribes in the north of Syria, and through our presence on the border, we assure the whole world that those who represent the tribes are on their land now and are resisting with their people the threats that are trying to hit the gains of the peoples of northern and eastern Syria."

Al-Jewher confirmed that the meetings and statements issued by some figures claiming to represent the clans and represent the Syrian people are totally unacceptable. "They do not represent any atom of the Syrian land."

Thabet said that they will stand with their sons in Syrian Democratic Forces and will resist any threat by external parties, especially the Turkish state, which threatened to occupy the region.,

 Thabet added ,"we will not accept any occupation at any cost ."

Thabet pointed out that the Turkish aggression targets all peoples, not just the Kurds, as the Turkish state claims "The other objective of the Turkish occupation is to obliterate the identity of the peoples of the region and to restore the Ottomans."

Thabet explained that the supporter of IS mercenary and all other terrorist groups tried repeatedly to enter the regions of northern and eastern Syria, "but all attempts failed."

Al-Shrabiin clan's elder Thabet al-Jewher  at the end of his speech called on all the Arab and Kurdish clans and the rest of the other components, to unify  their ranks to deter any attack by the Turkish occupation which aims to hit the gains of the people of northern and eastern Syria.
