Sit- in Kobani city against Turkish threats

Dozens of kobani canton's people began a sit-in protesing against of the Turkish threats towards the areas of Noth -East of Syria, emphasing on the steadfastness of the people of the area in their land in the face of each occupier.

Under a tent erected in Qeremox village east of Kobani city is bout 20 Km in the front of the Turlkish border a few meters, dozens of Kobani canton 's people have gathered, announcing of their sit-in ,condemning the Turkish threats towards the area.

A sit-in tent was to be set up again in Çol Beg village,west of Kobani city, but bad weather had prevented its erection today,to be set up later .

More than 100 people from Kobani city and its village intended to hold the sit - in tents in Qeremox village they stood outside the Turkish military posts on the border to say, "Your threats will not frighten us, they will even increase our determination to resist", the same slogan that was suspended above the tent entrance.

There will be rotation between the people in the tent for 24 hours continuously for several days and the Preparatory Committee did not specify duration.

The sit-in tent will be open to receive delegations from outside and within the canton , members of institutions and residents.

The sit-in tents come a day after two similar tents were erected in Tel-Abyed city,and Suluk district denunciation of Turkish threats and a confirmation of steadfastness and resistance.
