Deir ez-Zor residents revolted against Turkish occupation threats

The residents of Deir ez-Zor noted that they will not allow any country to occupy the land of Syria, pointing out that Syria is unified in all its components and that Turkey wants to destabilize the security and stability of the region.

To express their position on the threats of the Turkish state to launch attacks on areas of northern and eastern Syria, hundreds of residents of Deir ez-Zor and civil institutions, and members of the Future Syria Party, and the House of Women, and dignitaries and sheikhs of tribes in Deir ez-Zor gathered at the roundabout of al-Kasra, and organized a mass rally condemning the threats of Turkish occupation.

After the demo toured main streets it stopped in the courtyard of al-Kasra Square, where a member of the Legislative Council of Deir ez-Zor Khalaf al-Assad said

"Turkey has tried and is still trying to destabilize security and stability of the area ."

Followed by a speech by the Future Syria Party delivered by Hani al-Aifan, where he said "we confirm that these threats open the way for the return of terrorism to the region as happened in Afrin."
