People of Afrin, al-Shahba: Our decision "Insistence on Resistance"

After occupying Afrin canton, Turkey began to threat to occupy North- East of Syria without the emergence of any reactions by the international community, in front of the occupation and division of land. In this context, Hawar news agency held interviews with the people of Afrin and al-Shahba.

"Erdogan is suffering from a political and economic crisis and with these statements he wants to take out his internal problems abroad so as not to deepen the crises," Mohammad Ali Qanbar said.

He added "The people of Afrin in the camps will not be affected by these threats and we insist on resistance to reach our freedom."

Qanbar stressed that despite the international silence on the Turkish violations in the Kurdish issue, they will work to reach the democratic nation's project and the peoples' brotherhood and convince the world that they are not extremists. "We want peace and we fight for it."

He pointed out that the Turkish threats to the east of the Euphrates came in conjunction with the liberation of the last pocket of IS in north Syria by SDF, and this indicates the collusion of Turkey and its protection of the terrorist forces.
