Lailawa al-Abdullah: liberating Hajin needs more time

The official spokeswoman of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign Lailawa al-Abdullah said "The liberation of Hajin town needs more time because of the dangerous of IS there, the media reported that Syrian Democratic Forces follow the policy of scorched ground.

This came during a statement from the official spokeswoman of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign Lailawa al-Abdullah to ANHA agency on the latest developments of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign.

"The campaign of al-Jazeera Tempest has launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces east of the Euphrates River and exactly in Hajin area continues despite the obstacles facing SDF of booby-trapped vehicles, planting mines and using the civilians as human shields to hinder the progress of SDF fighters

Lailawa pointed out "The fighters of SDF are advancing in three axes in Hajin town, where these axes are witnessing strong clashes.

She noted that despite the obstacles used by IS, but SDF are working to open safe corridors to get the civilians out of clashes areas and release the detainees held by IS. The fighters have liberated thousands of civilians, mostly women and children.

"Liberation of the town requires some time and the region will be declared fully liberated in the next few days," she said.
