The UN has announced a $ 5.5 billion plan to support Syrian refugees and their five host countries - Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt and Iraq - over the next two years.

The United Nations said in a statement that «United Nations agencies and partners of non-governmental organizations launched, The Regional Response Plan for Refugees and Strengthening Crisis Response Capacity 2019-2020, a $ 5.5 billion plan, To support national efforts in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq in dealing with the ongoing impact of the Syrian crisis.
